The NET exam is a national level test organized to select candidates for assistant professor and junior research fellowship. To apply for the NET exam, you have to register online at NTA website and submit the required fees. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are conducted by National testing agency twice a year. The Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET exam while other stream candidates are eligible to apply for UGC NET exam. The NTA has started the online application for NET exam from 16th March to 16th April. And interested candidates can fill the online application form to apply for the exam.
