Hostel facilities for both boys and girls are available at IIIT Raichur. The hostels have basic facilities like furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, and water supply. Every room can accommodate two or three students with a study table and storage space. Mess facility is available with nutritious meals, and there are common areas for relaxation and recreation. Laundry facilities are available, along with round-the-clock medical support in the hostels. As of now, IIIT Raichur doesn’t have its own campus and is taking assistance from the IIT Hyderabad. Moreover, after the heart-warming response received by the institution during its formation years, IIIT Raichur is planning to develop its branches in different corners of the world. In addition to the branches, IIIT Raichur is also planning to launch a few more courses this year slowly and steadily while understanding the demand.

SMEAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. For the current academic session, the entrance exam has three admission rounds. Note that for each round, the application process will be conducted separately. 

The 1st round of admission process is currently over. The application form for Round I was open from January 10 to March 27, 2024. The entrance exam was conducted from April 6-7, 2024.

The BMAT exam is conducted in the online mode (CBT and IBT). Candidates have to mark the correct option against each question as there are only multiple-choice questions in BMAT. The detailed BMAT exam pattern is as follows:

Numerical Ability section of the BMAT question paper is tough. The important topics of this section include Arithmetic, Algebra Modern Math, Geometry, Number System Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration Permutation and Combination, Quadratic Equation, Logarithm, Probability Statistics Pie Chart, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Time and Work, etc. The Numerical Skills in BMAT exam tests the mathematical ability of the students. 

According to students, SMEAT exam is in the range of average, which is neither too easy and nor too tough. The candidate, however, has to know the syllabus and its core subjects thoroughly in order to score well.

Candidates appearing for SMEAT can also appear in other popular private entrance exams like MITID DAT, Pearl Academy, and FDDI AIST.

There are then the top-tier entrance exams like NIFT, NID, and UCEED. 

The BMAT syllabus is prescribed by the exam conducting authority, Bharatiya Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University. The BMAT syllabus is spread across four sections, i.e. English Language and Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning and Management Skills. The BMAT syllabus tests the candidate’s aptitude, mathematical ability and hold over the English language.

Yes, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology offer one-year PG Diploma course. The PGDP programme allows the individual to choose among two course offerings, the Bridge and the Finish, each of which have been designed to align to different levels of learning.

The SMEAT 2026 exam for Round I will be conducted around the 1st week of April 2026. 

SMEAT 2026 is expected to be conducted in an online mode in 10 cities. The exam will be conducted in multiple rounds. 

The candidates who appear in document verification will be sent for a medical examination at the Railway Hospitals. They will have to qualify in the medical category ‘B-1’ as prescribed in the Indian Railway Medical Manual. Those wearing glasses or having flat foot, knock knee, squint eyes, colour blindness and other bodily defects are not eligible for an appointment. 

SMEAT 2026 entrance exam result for Round 1 will be declared on April 29, 2026. Results will be declared online at admission portal of the institute. To check results, candidates need to log in using their credentials. Last date to pay the caution money is May 13, 2026.

Yes, the PTE exam for students opting to study abroad, i.e. PTE Academic is now available to be taken online. The PTE Academic Online exam can be taken on the my PTE portal and allows students to appear for the exam from the comfort of their homes, offices or any quiet and private space that abides by all the conditions mandated by the Pearson PLC Group.

The at-home PTE online exam has been launched as an aid for students who cannot reach the distant PTE test centers easily. However, the PTE exam fees remains the same for both PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online exams. 

• Students should have completed a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
• Students should have 50 per cent in graduation. 
• Students of Indian nationality are eligible
• The student should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
• Those whose medium of instruction in Graduation was not English will have to complete an orientation course in English provided by institutes.

The total tuition fee for Chitravansham Group of College BSc is INR 35,500. After getting selected, candidates need to pay course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat. Aspirants are also required to pay tuition fee semester-wise or annually as defined by CGC.

Candidates should have passed Class 12 in Science stream to apply for Chitravansham Group of College BSc programme. Besides, the selection for BSc admission will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam.
