Hi,
There are other institute specific entrances in order to pursue M.Tech other than GATE. But, it would be advisable to opt for M.Tech after clearing GATE exam as it opens more doors of esteemed universities such as IITs, NITs, IIITs etc.
Some of the universities offering M.Tech without GATE :
-Banasthali Vidyapeeth
-University of Hyderabad
-Jawaharlal Nehru University
-Punjabi University
-University of Roorkee
-Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning

Lovely professional University is top ranked for its placements. Companies keep on visiting throughout the semester for all branches. LPU has very good system and policies of placement. Those students who register for placement easily placed as other moves to abroad and some opt higher studies, therefore based upon number of students register with placement cell, they call companies.
Also lpu provides PEP classes which are placement classes scheduled every week from 3rd year onwards to improve skill set of students.i also want to add lpu is also conducting mock interviews to boost up the confidence of each and every studen
