For taking admission in MU you can either apply online by visiting our website or you can fill the form by visiting MU Campus/City Office.Firstly you have to fill the application form which is worth Rs 750/- and then you have to clear an entrance exam organized by MU. If you will clear this exam then only you can take admission in MU.For further details visit www.mangalayatan.edu.in

I don't think so. One of my friend placed through lpu.
Companies keep on visiting throughout the semester for all branches. LPU has very good system and policies of placement. Every student get a chance to sit in placement activities. Suppose a company 1 visit - all the students will be allowed to sit for placement, now let afterwards 2nd company visit only those students gets chance to sit in placement of second company if are not selected by 1st company and so on until all students gets placed.
Also in newspaper i red lpu conduced Mega fair for external students as well.
Recently lpu is in news as it placed its number of students with

It closes 10 days after declaration of results by MU. There are many good or better mass comm colleges. you could try those also. Universities like Nitte, Mangalore or Manipal, Udupi or Symbiosis, Pune. Try there just in case.
