A few tips-
1. Set your learning objective first
2. Always start with the concepts
3. Solve the problems without setting the time frame
4. To get competitive edge it is very important to solve more and more type of problems.
5. Revise

Always choose right books and solve the previous question papers in a logical manner.

R.S Agarwal [Arithmetic]
Essential of Grammar- Oxford Publications
Wren & Martin [English Grammar]
A Brief Introduction to Indian Constitution by Xavier's Pinto
Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation by Arun S

Hope you are fine,
I don't think that you can pursue MCA after B.Com as you did not have Maths in 12th.Maths is very necessary to study MCA and from the starting level that is from your secondary level you should have knowledge of maths. Some university are taking a test where u have to give the test after passing that test u can join the MCA .
May be there are some universities which can admit you to their MCA program,but in the first year you will have to study maths for sure.
Rather i will suggest you to pursue MBA after B.Com as this would be better option for you.
