Hi Dhrumil,
It's unfortunate that you have secured less marks in your 11th and have plans to dropout from 12th and join a Diploma course.
The admission to the Diploma Engineering Courses is made through the Joint Entrance Test. Candidates who qualify the JET are eligible to apply for admission to various courses being run in the affiliated institutions of the Board. The admission to these institutions will be based on the relative merit of the candidates in the JET in their respective category. All candidates desirous of applying for admission are required to submit admission application form with the requisite fee before the last date fixed for submission of the same.
Those candidates who qualify the JET can apply for the admission to various Institutions affiliated with the Board. Admission will be purely on the inter-se-merit of JET. Candidates desirous to take admission should fill up the admission form, which is included in the prospectus. ENTRY QUALIFICATION: For Diploma (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Computer and IT): The Applicant must posses an aggregate of 55% in Mathematics and Science in 10 Std. from CBSE or its equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. OR 12th Pass with 55% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized Board or Institutions. ITI pass outs (who passed at least 10 level school leaving examination before admission to ITI course) & 10+2 pass (Vocational stream) candidates can apply for admission to the relevant branch.
However, I would recommend that you complete your schooling from a regular school.
In order to get past a reputed college and a feasible course, ensure that you crack these exams to the best of your capability.

There will be total 120 question which have a Duration of 2 Hours and each question must be answered in 60 seconds
Level of questions will be up to Graduate (10+2+3) examination,
Questions will be of kind that will judge the aptitude, analytical and comprehension ability besides critical
thinking of the candidates regarding subject concerned. Additionally, there will be compulsory
section which will include questions on general awareness (General Knowledge, Indian
Culture, Indian Agriculture, etc.).
