Creating blueprint of vehicles and its components
Maintenance and Services Engineers in automobile workshops, aircraft industries, aviation, marine vessels, and diesel power stations

Automobile Engineering is one of the most advanced courses in engineering that involves making of an automobile, including manufacturing, operation, design, and investigation of it during repairs, reconstruction, and modification. It involves the designing of automobiles like cars, buses, trucks, and all kinds of vehicles used for road transportation. The degree in automobile engineering also offers various specializations in the field of aerodynamics, emissions, chassis, ergonomics, alternative fuels, electronics, materials, motorsport, vehicle, manufacturing, rapid prototyping, pedestrian safety, supply chain management, and power train. In my opinion, LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in a core company as well as a software company. Other than participating in different events like a go-kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world, etc. Practical-based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every one of eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on individual skill. Apart from their placements, LPU also provides rich support to its students to focus on their entrepreneurship projects that can help the student set up their own businesses. Every year, a lot of championships and competitions such as Go-Kart are organized in the university for giving a platform to students for innovation and development. In 2019, when PM Modi visited the university for addressing the Indian Science Congress "a driverless car" was designed by the students to drop them from the helipad to the main venue. Hi Kaushik, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2021. LPU is ranked 62nd on the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is ranked 66th, Management School is ranked 37th, Pharmacy School is ranked 23rd, Architecture is ranked 12th, and Law School is ranked 24th amongst all Government and Private Universities in India. Recently LPU has achieved a great milestone by becoming one of the three Indian universities to secure a place in the Top 200 in the World in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. It has been ranked at the 2nd the highest position among all the Indian universities in its debut year itself.
