Yes, passing from NIOS is not an issue, it is a valid certificate for admission to degree courses as well as medical admission. For B.Ed you need to be a graduate first. 50% marks are minimum eligibility for NEET examination you are eligible for that as well. All the best for your endeavours.

Preparation tips can be really long and how well you can follow the documented tips will vary from person to person so I will suggest you start with the basics and a mock test of SAT and TOEFL to understand your areas of weakness and strengths. Research firstly on TOEFL and SAT score requirements of various universities. Experts say that the SAT is more in favour of verbally inclined students, so read a lot , learn new words. However this does not indicate the math section is easy so learn short cuts and tricks. Practice is the key. Read textbooks, encyclopaedias, journals and research articles for both TOEFL or SAT. Here are two blog

In GTC, it is true that its not full-filing all the expectations, but though it is an average college. Campus is good compared to other RTU colleges. Placements are also good compared to other colleges, old faculties are helpful. Some departments like mechanical and electrical are the best of this college. So, pursuing engineering from this college is good decision, compared to other RTU colleges.

Now sir, there is two option, either drop one year again and scored good marks in JEE Mains and you should have minimum 75% marks in your board, because of eligibility criteria of JEE Main. Or, you should join top private university for B.Tech like LPU, SRM University, Poornima University, I suggest you Poornima University, because Poornima University also provide specializations course for B.Tech in cloud computing and is the only university present in Rajasthan, which will provide you specialization course and faculties is too good.

I believe that VIT-Vellore is better than Thapar University, but I see many people are with Thapar University, both provide quality education. But, VIT's placements are good they have tie ups mass recruiters. They have very well infrastructure and good student-faculty ratio. But, as you are expecting high salary, I think Thapar University give you better opportunity than VIT, because even VIT has high placements, their packages are low.
