B.Tech is bachelor's in technical (engineering) education.it has many fields viz., civil, architectural, biomedical, mechanical, aeronautics, automobile, nanotechnology etc,
In general, the degree is awarded to those who have undertaken a degree program which is additionally supplemented by either occupational placements (e.g., supervised practice or internships) or practice-based classroom courses. Due to these requirements, the degree normally takes at least four years.

After completing BE you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, M.Tech etc)
As per your profile I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years and then opt for further studies.The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technical field, then you may pursue masters in same or related fields, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.

In order to pursue MBA from AICTE approved institutes and recognized universities you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 50% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree form recognized university.
Plus you need to appear in various management entrance tests like: CAT, MAT,XAT etc.

hi mansi, u can definitely pursue AME and AMIETE together. AMIETE is a fully recognised course. It doesnt come under the purview of conventional UGC/DEC/AICTE but the courses are directly recognised by Ministry of HRD which is the head of all regulatory bodies, GATE/UPSC/IITs/IIMs and by AIU as equivalent to BE. Degree courses from Ae.S.I/IETE/AMIE/IIIE/IME are known as Chartered Engg. or GRAD (specialisation). So wherever a BE/B.Tech is eligible an AMIE/IETE graduate is also eligible.
