If by the term "One sitting" you mean doing BA in only one year and by giving just one exam, then I regret Madhaviahoo that this is officially not feasible. The minimum course is of three year duration. There have been recent proposals in Delhi to make this for 4 year.

For admission in engg in a good and reputed college you should seat for entrance examination.But many private university and pvt engg college take admission on marks or their own entrance test basis. In which region you want opt your engg, please mention here i'll suggest you some college for you.
