ECE is combination of Electronics which deals with semiconductor devices and communication which deals with analog and digital communication methods. You will start with learning devices like diode, transistors, types of devices in terms of bi-polar junction transistors, MOS(Metal on Oxide) and FET(Field effect transistors). Their characteristics, effect of temp, power handling capacity, applications etc. You will also learn binary or Boolian algebra, gates, registers, Flip Flop etc. Subsequently, you will learn antenna & wave propagation, television, radar, radio, satellite communication, modulation techniques, channel capacity, mobile technologies etc.
C++ and JAVA, physics, chemistry, maths, software lab, engineering drawing, basic mechanical, basic civil and communication skill subjects are common to all branches.
