# CASE 1. If I take provisional Admission by reporting at RC but does not take admission in allotted Institute
A candidate, who takes provisional admission by reporting at a Reporting Center but does not report to the allotted institute for admission, will have to personally report for refund at the same Reporting Center to fill-up withdrawal form (where provisional
admission was taken) on or before scheduled date and time. After completing formalities for refund, candidate will get a refund of Rs. 39,000 in due course of time. Refund will be sent to the candidates by electronic mode only in the bank account submitted with full details by the candidate during personal reporting to reporting centre.
# CASE 2- If I have been allotted a seat in any round but I have surrendered that at Reporting centre and want to sit in next round.
If the candidates, who have modified their choices by surrendering their seats after third round during scheduled dates and time and have paid the fees in any previous rounds and are allotted seats in the fourth round, do not report for admission to the allotted institutes during scheduled dates and time, need not report to a reporting centre for refund. In such cases the allotment of seats to the candidates will be automatically cancelled. Candidates will get a refund of Rs. 39,000 in due course of 5 time. Refund will be sent to the candidates by electronic transfer.
# CASE 3- If a candidate gets seat in CSAB Counselling and then get admission in some Institute and withdraws admission before the scheduled time (mentioned in CSAB Flowchart)
A candidate, who gets admitted to the allotted institute but withdraws on or before the scheduled date and time, will get the refund from allotted institute in due course of time. The amount refunded will be as per the norms of the respective institute. Candidates who do not report for admission to the allotted institutes during scheduled date and time need not report for refund. In such cases the allotment of seats to the candidates will be automatically cancelled. Candidates will get a refund of Rs. 39,000 in due course of time, if do not register for the spot round. Refund will be sent to the candidates by electronic transfer. The candidates, who register for the spot round will be governed by the spot round refund rules.
