Dear Neha, Do your mass communication. With media growing at an exponential rate, it is not only placement oriented but also extremely interesting. But you'll have to choose a grade A university to do the MAJMC course. Plus it should have the necessary infrastructure and a professionally built studio. Some institutes just cover the walls with curtains and call it a studio. A good studio will have cyclorama and chromakey green facilities along with a large library and faculty from industry and academia. These are important factors to choose a good university. If it is good, you should be willing to go to any corner of the country and do the course in a good university. Manipal, Nitte Univeristy, ACJ, MASSCOM, Jamia are all good centres of journalism and mass communication.

Well, it would depend on the institute, as different institutes have different criteria.
As you have already done a diploma, you are eligible for seeking lateral entry in B.Tech. One requires to qualify LEET as conducted by the technical education board of the state. Lateral Entry Entrance Tests are conducted on state level. But some colleges and Univerities too conduct Lateral Entry Tests. You will get direct admission to 2nd year of B.Tech if you clear the exam.
