No, it's not mandatory that parents should come on reopening day. But student must attend the class because the basic instructions will been given on that day.

Well nothing is also so favourable. Sciene as a stream isn't that helpful for Civil service exam. But with thorough preparation you can crack it. many Medical doctors are IAS officers infact. So whatever you do, make sure you master it cause you'll have a paper on your subject too.

Rajat, you didn't specify the subjects you did in 12th. Still don't waste one year in repeating the class but go for the options that are available for you with these marks.
If you have any passion for computers you can go for BCA or B.Sc Computer Science or B.Sc IT.
