The marks allotted to each question in DCECE exam is 5 marks. Each paper of DCECE has 90 questions and the total marks in 450. In PE group question paper questions come from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. In PMM course group question paper questions come from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Hindi, English and General Knowledge. No, There is no negative marking for wrong answers in DCECE. The exam is held in offline mode at the state level. DCECE is a state-level entrance test for admission to Polytechnic (Engg - PE) / Para Medical (Matric Level - PMM) / Para Medical (Intermediate level - PM) courses offered in the various state-run Polytechnic institutes. There are separate question papers for PE, PMM, and PM courses. It is held for 2 hours 15 mins and the total number of questions asked is 90.
