The Commission removed the optional subject from the UPPSC Main exam. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission removed the optional subject based on the directives of the State Government. Earlier, the total number of subjects in the UPPSC PCS exam was 29 including four literature subjects. The candidates were required to select one of the optional subjects from the list. The General Studies, Hindi, and Essay paper were compulsory to all the candidates. The Commission should do the answer writing practice during preparation.

UPPSC 2023 Main exam was conducted from September 26 based on the new syllabus and exam pattern.

Yes, considering that the university has various English requirements. it also accepts another English test, excluding IELTS, such as PTE, TOEFL and Cambridge. However, below are the English requirements the University asks for:
