The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission release the UPPSC PCS notification every year to notify the exam. The Commission mention all the important details about the exam such as application dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, age limits, relaxation provided to the reserved categories, vacancies and the importatn rules and regulations that will govern the exam. 

The UPPSC notification is the oficial document which is referred to by the Courts (in case of recruitment related litigation) while interpreting anything related to the exam.

Once the registration details i.e., name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth are entered and submitted, this information cannot be changed/modified/edited under any circumstances. Also, the information must match exactly with the school/college admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category/income certificates etc. (as applicable) which a candidate has to produce at the time of entering the examination hall, during counselling/admission and registration with the University.

UPPSC 2023 notification was released online on March 3. The UPPCS 2023 form link was also activated for the candidates. The last date to apply for the UPPSC 2023 exam is April 6. The Commission will conduct the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam 2023 on May 14. The Commission will conduct the UPPCS main exam from September 26 as per the new exam pattern and syllabus. The Commission did not mention syllabi of the newly introduced papers.

The Commission released the UPPSC prelims 2023 result in June and released the UPPCS 2023 main admit card on September 17.
