Reportedly, Mother Teresa Institute of Science and Technology, Khammam, offers the highest package at around 3.5 LPA. A dedicated placement cell exists at the college, and some 78% of the students get placed with organizations such as Tech Mahindra, Genpact, and HCL Technologies. The package is not all that high compared to those given elsewhere; however, opportunities surely do exist for good starting to these students with such firms in the industry.

Admission to the undergraduate B.E./B.Tech courses at Mother Teresa Institute of Science and Technology would be through a valid rank in TS EAMCET, which is considered as the primary entry into engineering seats in Telangana. However, to admit students from other Telugu states or those management quota seats that do not depend on EAMCET ranks, JEE Main is also deemed valid for admission. Non-EAMCET options, however, can most effectively be reached by telephoning the admissions department of MTIST.
