Pay package of B.Tech IT and CSE doesn't depend on the branch. There are a lot of factors which decides your salary. Starting average package is quite low as 4 to 5 LPA only. After all, it depends on the companies whether you are in the service-based company or product based company.

It varies from college to college. Those which are government-funded have a relatively low fee (e.g. Sydenham, FMS, etc.) as compared to those which are privately-owned (e. g. IIMs, NMIMS, SP Jain, XLRI, etc.).
