MG Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) has an elaborate seat reservation policy. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various categories. The percentage of seats reserved for each category is given below:

  • 1% of seats are reserved for Handicapped candidates
  • 20% of total seats are reserved for women candidates (category-wise, in respective cadre)
  • 2% of total seats are reserved for dependents of Freedom Fighters

Yes, if your school and board offer it you can enroll in Nepali as a higher secondary course. As one of the regional languages Nepali is recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) and is offered to students as an elective first or second language. You can select Nepali since it is your first language as long as your higher secondary school offers the required staff and curriculum.
