1. Online Application Submission

The candidates start by filling up the application form online along with uploading basic academic details and entrance exam scores (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA, etc.).

2. Submission of SOP & Documents

Applicants have to submit a Statement of Purpose together with necessary documents like mark sheets, ID proof, entrance scorecard, and certificates.

3. Profile Screening

GIBS considers academic background, entrance scores, work experience (if any), and the quality of the SOP to shortlist candidates.

4. Group Discussion (GD)

Shortlisted candidates then undergo a Group Discussion in which communication, teamwork, leadership, and analytical skills are evaluated.

5. Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates then attend a Personal Interview, which focuses on motivation, career goals, confidence, subject knowledge, and overall personality.

6. Final Selection & Offer Letter

GIBS prepares the merit list based on performance in GD + PI + academics + entrance score + SOP and issues the final admission offer.

7. Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

The selected students confirm their admission through paying the first installment of the fees.

8. Orientation & Program Commencement

The process ends with the orientation sessions, where the students are formally inducted into the GIBS MBA/PGDM program.

Here's how it works:

• For admission to B.Sc. Paramedical Technology (PMT), the candidate must pass 10+2 (HSC/12th) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

• The minimum required aggregate marks for “open/general” (i.e. unreserved) category is 50%.

• For reserved-category candidates, the minimum is lower (often 40%).

Since you have 60% in HSC, you are above the 50% threshold — which means you meet the basic eligibility criteria.

• You must have passed PCB in 12th (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). If your 60% includes PCB aggregate, that satisfies the subject requirement.

• Admission is merit-based (based on 10+2 marks) — for PMT courses, there's no separate entrance: seats are allotted on the basis of 12th marks / merit list. 

• Because competition may be high and seat intake limited, actual seat allotment may depend on how many candidates apply, their scores, and seat availability. So meeting minimum eligibility doesn't automatically guarantee a seat.

Campus culture is chill but active.

There are clubs for psychology, dance, theatre, design, tech, entrepreneurship, debating, and much more. Some clubs are very active, others depend heavily on student initiative. Clubs are student-led and have a faculty member. Students are also allowed to start their own club with approval.

Events like open mics, workshops, cultural fests, sports days, expert sessions, and guest lectures happen frequently. It is not really a party campus or something super wild, but there's always something happening if you want to participate.

If you're social, you'll have plenty to do. If you prefer quieter days, you can always do your own thing.
