The application of the technical aspects of food or food science to the processing, selection, preservation, packaging and distribution of safe and healthy food is known as food technology. Therefore food technology deals with the study of the physical, chemical and the microbiological aspects of food. But every food technology unit has to follow and abide by regulations set by the government and keep in mind the industry standards before releasing food in the market.
Courses and eligibility for admission in Food Technology colleges in India:
Food technology is taught in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in colleges of India. The different courses offered are:

The basic academic qualification required for admission to the undergraduate courses of study in food technology is successful completion of 10+2 school board examinations with Science as your chosen stream of study. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology must be compulsory subjects at the school level. For admission to the postgraduate programs in food technology, you must have a graduation degree in food technology.
List of Entrance Tests for Admission to Food Technology Colleges:
-GATE Entrance Examination for admission to Food Technology courses
-CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute entrance examination) for admission to the M.Sc course in food technology in CFTRI, Mysore
-AIJEE (All India Joint Entrance Examination) for admission to the B.Tech course of study in food technology. The state level JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) will also get you admission to the course.
-IICPT (Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology entrance examination) for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses of study in food process engineering.

A candidate with any sort of surgery has to wait minimum 6 months before going for a medical examination.
The residual effects of such fractures/ injuries will be assessed for any functional limitation. If there is no effect on function, you can be assessed fit. Cases of old fractures of spine you would be considered unfit. In case there is the presence of large or multiple keloids will be cause for rejection.
Else if not and you have managed to recover well then you have no cause for worry.

For a PG Medical course and to practice in Australia, you must obtain the AMC (Australian Medical Council) certificate. To obtain the AMC Certificate you must first clear required AMC pathways that is AMC MCQ and AMC Clinical. You must pass the AMC MCQ before you could sit for AMC Clinical. As an international student you must also provide a valid IELTS score.
After you have cleared AMC Clinical, your qualifications and credentials will be evaluated and approved by ECIS. Only after ECIS validates your qualification the AMC will provide you the necessary certificate. It is also important that you communicate with an Australian Medical School for registration and clinical jobs before starting the entire procedure.

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has extended its collaboration with the Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) to offer three-year B.Sc and two-year MSc programs.
Students under the initiative, pursue five theory subjects offered by IGNOU and 34 subjects taught through full-time institute laboratory and classroom learning in various operational aspects of hospitality, to qualify for a three-year B.Sc degree which is conferred by IGNOU.

Most of the courses are available at the postgraduate level – as a certificate or diploma course with duration ranging from six months to one year. There are some certificate courses available at undergraduate level too.
Perhaps the best thing about tea management courses is that they are not too expensive. Most institutes offering one-year Tea Management Courses in India charge only Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000.
