Hi Farhan,
A candidate with any sort of surgery has to wait minimum 6 months before going for a medical examination.
The residual effects of such fractures/ injuries will be assessed for any functional limitation. If there is no effect on function, you can be assessed fit. Cases of old fractures of spine you would be considered unfit. In case there is the presence of large or multiple keloids will be cause for rejection.
Else if not and you have managed to recover well then you have no cause for worry.

For a PG Medical course and to practice in Australia, you must obtain the AMC (Australian Medical Council) certificate. To obtain the AMC Certificate you must first clear required AMC pathways that is AMC MCQ and AMC Clinical. You must pass the AMC MCQ before you could sit for AMC Clinical. Yes, IBSAT exam is conducted in online mode. The exam is held in remote proctored mode. Applicants can book the exam slot after completing the IBSAT application process online. To appear for the online mode of examination, candidates must have a desktop or laptop and download the required software to appear for the exam.

IBSAT 2026 exam will be held tentatively in last week of December. Candidates can book the exam slot tentatively from October 2026.
