All aspirants are automatically considered for academic scholarships. Depending on their academic application and supporting documents submitted during admission, aspirants are awarded scholarships. The financial aid and different scholarships offered to aspirants at the Valpo campus are:

Financial Aid: This refers to the financial aid disbursed to aspirants at Valpo University shortly before the Valpo semester. Under normal circumstances, students must visit the Financial Aid Office to receive this scholarship.

 Campus Scholarships

• Endowed Study Abroad Scholarships: This scholarship is offered by a few liberal donors as a means of assisting students. It helps students plan their studies abroad.

World Languages and Cultures Scholarships

• National Scholarships: National scholarships are offered to almost all students regardless of competition. In the past, most Valpo students received this scholarship. With the help of study abroad programme advisors, students can avail themselves of this scholarship.

• Inclusive Ireland Scholarships: This scholarship is offered to BIPOC (Black Indigenous and People of Color) students studying abroad in Ireland. This scholarship is offered in collaboration with Diversity Abroad, Education in Ireland.

• Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students studying Critical Need Language courses. For instance, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, Turkic, Russian, Korean, etc. Students can receive USD 3000 per summer and USD 4000 per semester or up to USD 5000 per year.

• Diversity Abroad Scholarships: To ensure all students have equal access to opportunities for traveling and studying abroad, students are offered this scholarship.

The supporting documents required to pursue UG and PG courses are:

Documents for UG students

• A copy of the student’s passport

• Three years of high school transcripts with an English translation (for students of other languages)

• English proficiency proof and test scores

Documents for PG students

• Undergraduate transcript indicating the degree earned

• For PG admission, high school or secondary transcripts are not required.

• English language proficiency certificate

• Proof of financial support or a sponsorship letter from the individual taking the responsibility to pay an applicant’s fees is required.

• Clear scanned copies of both sides of your passport

Eligibility requirements for UG students

International students who want to pursue graduate courses at Valparaiso University must have a valid score indicating proof of English Language Requirement. They must submit the test score of different exams such as the ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE A, and O Levels, iTEP, or International Baccalaureate (IB). Currently, Valparaiso University is also accepting the Duolingo Test scores due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Aspirants can appear for this test online from their homes. For aspirants who are permanent residents of Australia or the UK, English test scores are not needed.

Eligibility requirements for PG students

To pursue PG courses in any discipline, aspirants should have a valid UG degree from an accredited university or college. Aspirants must graduate with a 3.0 GPA (B-Average) in graduate and undergraduate coursework.

Eligibility requirements for Indian students

Indian students to pursue any UG or PG courses must take English proficiency tests. For instance, ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE A, and O Levels, iTEP, or International Baccalaureate (IB), etc. They should submit two online recommendation letters from two professionals.

Jindal School of Banking and Finance, O.P. Jindal Global University follow a holistic admission policy which takes into consideration the scores of ( 10th & 12th Grade ), Entrance Exam Score and Performance in Online Personal Interview.

Bachelors: Successful Completion of Class XII examination or equivalent (CBSE, ISC, IB, Cambridge and other government recognised board .  Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test JSAT - Minimum 50% (Overall), UGAT/CUET ≥ 60 Percentile, ACT - 27 Points, SAT - 1100 & Above

Masters: Undergraduate degree in any field with minimum 50% marks with mathematics in high school or undergraduate degree. MFAT (Master in Finance Aptitude Test) conducted by the Jindal School of Banking & Finance Or CAT/MAT/ XAT/CMAT/ATMA > 50 percentile | GRE > 295 | GMAT > 450 | NMAT > 160

The National institute of Fashion Technology offers various UG and PG courses in the field of Design and Fashion and admission to these courses is done through NIFT Entrance exam. The NIFT institutes are situated at various locations such as Bangalore, Patna, Mumbai, Gandhinagar, etc. Among all the NIFT campuses, NIFT Delhi, Mumbai and Banaglore are the top 3 NIFT institutes in the country followed by NIFT Chennai and Gandhinagar, as per the rankings released by India today in 2023.
