For Great Lakes , the cutoff is generally above 80 percentile to get a call.The Great Lakes CAT cutoff is expected to be above 85 percentile. Candidates obtaining a CAT percentile above 85 can apply to get a callback from the Great Lakes Institute for the Personal Interview round

Candidate should need to score a minimum of 80 percentile in CAT and XAT entrance exams scorecard for taking admission in the PGPM courses. Great Lakes will accept only last years score of CAT and XAT for cycle-1 of the PGPM admission process and for both the years in cycle-2. CMAT overall cutoff is 95 percentile.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai accepts entrance exam scores of any of the following: CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) by GMAC and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) for admissions to its various post graduate management courses. Yes, you can easily get into Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai with 70% marks in class 12th because the eligibility criteria for admission into Great lakes demands for at least 50% marks or above in intermediate. Both the courses ( MBA and Executive MBA) have a great placement records at Great Lakes Institute of Management. 

There is a small edge to Executive MBA over MBA of 15% Higher packages.

The Great Lakes Institute of Management has a the highest package record for the courses PGPM and PGDM - INR 34 Lakhs and INR 46 Lakhs respectively.

Whereas in GIM, Goa has the record of the same courses as INR 55 Lakhs and INR 60 Lakhs in previous year.

It can be said that GIM has a better placement record as compared to that of GLIM. Although the median package of these two are varied too much.
