Minimum scores, or 'Safe Scores, ' are determined after reviewing the overall applicant pool post-application completion. While indicative scores include 85+ percentile in XAT/CAT, a 600+ GMAT score, or 98+ percentile in CMAT, these are not rigid benchmarks. Exceptional profiles with slightly lower scores may still be considered, emphasizing a holistic evaluation. Conversely, high aptitude test scores alone may not secure admission if other aspects of the candidate's record are lacking. Great Lakes prioritizes well-rounded candidates with strong overall track records, acknowledging that test scores are just one aspect of the comprehensive selection process.

To be eligible for admission to the Great Lakes Institute of Management, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% across 10th, 12th, and Undergraduation. This academic requirement serves as a baseline for evaluating applicants and ensures a competitive academic background. 
The other criterias include:

• the candidate must have appeared for GMAT taken after 1st January 2021, CAT taken in 2022/2023, XAT taken in 2023/2024, or CMAT taken in 2023/2024.
• Only freshers or those with less than 36 months of work experience as of 30th June 2024 are eligible.
• Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience by 30th April 2024 are encouraged to apply for the One Year Flagship PGPM or the Two Year PGDM.
• College/University rank holders receive special preference, and proof of rank is required. Eligible candidates can apply for both programs, and admission decisions are based on program-specific criteria and fit.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai offers two executive MBA courses- PGXPM and PGPM Flex. For admissions go on the official website of the college and register for the desired course. You will be required to make a payment of INR 1500 and then proceed to fill the online application form available on the official website. Submit the official e- mail ids of the recommenders and finish. The further processes will be contacted through e- mails or messages and if you are shortlisted, the date and venue will be notified to you officially. There are no cut- offs required for admissions to executive MBA programs however, you need to have at least 8 years of experience in the field and provide two recommenders and a SOP.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai minimum cut- off for PGDM 2023:

There are no sectional cut- offs as well as there are no hard cut- offs for entrance test scores. Your overall performance, profile and other achievements are also taken into consideration and a slight difference from cut- off won’t affect your admission.  If any candidate submits more than one entrance test score, the best of them will be considered for further evaluation and admission.
