A few last years GDPI experiences
1. GD: "Equal pay for equal work".
Group had around 10 members, 2 interviewers. 15 minutes of discussion, 1 min to each candidate to summarize.
PI:
Panel had 5 members. They were very sweet and made me feel comfortable.
They are looking for candidates dedication and passion towards society and the course one is applying for.
They asked me several questions for around 15 mins.
Why i want to get into SW?
How will my graduation will help in SW?
If given, will i marry an untouchable girl?
3 reasons to convince panel, why they should choose me?
If i have to understand problems of trans gender people (kinnar), how i will get into their group to identify their problems?
2. GD topic was "Artificial Jungles" referring to an under construction building.
Pretty good discussion for 15 minutes and then everyone was given 1 minute each to summarise.
PI after around 2 hours.2 Ladies and 2 Gents.
Sir 1 asked me about investment related questions as I specified about it in my DAF.
Ma'am asked me about CSR and social initiatives. Another ma'am did not ask me anything.
Sir 2 asked for my views on Caste System and and the books I read related to social development.
Interview lasted for 10-12 minutes. Quite chilled out
3. gd topic was "respecting identities". and it was a caption on a photograph of eunuchs. the gd went smoothly.
the pi was sort of grilling. but i'm satisfied with that too. i think they were really impressed b my nationalist stand (which by the way i am and a hardcore one at that).

After Diploma in mechanical engineering, you may join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
