There is no provision of the application correction window for KLEE application form. Thus, once candidates submit the KLEE application form, they will not be able to edit it. Thus, while filling out the KLEE application form candidates need to be very careful and need to consider the following points to avoid mistakes in filling out the form: 

• Refer to your original documents and enter details accordingly. 
• Always enter your name, parents' names, date of birth and other crucial details according to your official documents such as, voter ID, Aadhar Card, and HSC admit card. 
• Cross-check all the details twice that you enter and then submit the form. 

KARTET Paper 1 consists of 5 sections, namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each section contains 30 questions, with a total of 150 questions and a maximum score of 150 marks.

• KARTET Paper 1 includes:
  • Child Development and Pedagogy: This section tests the candidates' understanding of the concepts and principles of child development and the process of learning. It includes questions on child psychology, teaching methodologies, learning theories, etc.
  • Language 1: This section tests the candidates' proficiency in the language, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Language 2: In this section, candidates can choose to answer questions in the language. The section tests the candidates' proficiency in the chosen language, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Mathematics: This section tests the candidates' knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts, including numbers, geometry, algebra, etc.
  • Environmental Studies: This section tests the candidates' knowledge of the environment, including topics such as ecology, pollution, natural resources, etc.

Each section carries equal weightage, and candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the KARTET exam. The exam is conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

For admission to Somaiya Vidyavihar's BTech programme in 2025, candidates must complete an online application. To be considered for admission, applicants must follow the steps below:

Step 1: Candidates (pursuing HSC 2025 /completed HSC in 2024 or before) willing to pursue B.Tech degree can submit the online preadmission form available on college Admission website with payment of non-refundable/ non-transferable application fees INR. 2000. 

Step 2: Admission process will be carried out in different rounds based on different entrance examinations: SAT 2024/2025/ JEE Main Session  2025 /PERA-CET 2025/ MHT-CET 2025/CUET 2025. Visit important dates section on college website for schedule of rounds.

Step 3: Candidates can apply any one or more than one rounds within the same pre-application based entrance examinations using the login credentials (registered email and password).

Step 4: A provisional seat offered or not offered (based on the merit, programme preference, and availability of seats taken together) will be communicated via registered email.

Candidates who clear the ITMI admission test, GDPI and essay writing test are called by India Today Media Institute to appear for the orientation programme. Shortlisted candidates must produce information regarding their name, address, guardian details etc. on INR 10 stamp paper on the day of orientation along with some necessary documents. The difficulty level of questions asked in KARTET (Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam can be considered moderate, with some questions being easy and some being more challenging.
