Hi
Its very rare to see an engg student enquiring about extra courses for him. If you can manage, train yourself in any language like python or any technical course thru online mode. You may take projects or internships also as that will give you an idea of how job market works. For online courses, here are the links.
1. http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
2. coursera.org
3. https://www.edx.org/course
These courses are offered by reputed international universities and are free as well as paid so choose what you like.

ECE is a hardcore engineering branch will open door for you in Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. With CSE you have only career options in IT industry. B.Tech CSE graduates also compete with BCA MCA M.Sc. CS and B.Tech IT graduates. Therefore job competition is higher for CSE graduates & also their supply is very high vis a viz demand. If given a choice I will prefer ECE over CSE.
