NIT, Warangal falls under the top 10 colleges of India.
There are some cutoff criteria for admission.
The college does not reveal it and every year it is changing.
But for reference, you can refer to the official website of NIT, Warangal. They have provided complete details of opening and closing ranks of the previous year.

There is no comparison between IITM and any other college as it is of high standards. You need to clear JEE Advanced for IITs. To know about the colleges which you can get, you may refer:

You cannot get the top ranking colleges like CEG and MIT but you can try for other affiliated colleges.

NIT do not have lateral entry system. In NIT, Diploma is considered as equivalent to class 12th, if you want to get admission in NIT, you have to appear in JEE Mains and score a good rank.

Every year, the cut-off for getting admission in DU is above 95%. It can be 99 percentage also. As every year, it is 98-99 percentage. They take only the highest marks holders in 12th. So, if you want admission there you should work hard.
