As per the official website of DAV College, Sec-10, Chandigarh -
" Admission to B.Sc courses :
A candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 40% marks from a recognised University/Board/Council or any other examination recognised by the P.U. as equivalent, with pass in English as one of the subjects shall be eligible to join the First Year class of B.Sc.I degree course.
However, a person who has not qualified English as one of the subjects at the +2 examination, shall be eligible to join B.Sc. Ist Year class provisionally subject to his/her qualifying the deficient subject of English from the parent Board/Body/ Council/University in two consecutive chances subsequent to his admission, failing which his/her admission to B.Sc.I year class and the result for the examination shall automatically stand cancelled.
Provided that a student would offer any science subject, including Mathematics, only if he/she has passed that subject in the qualifying exam OR qualifies the subject as a deficient/ additional subject from the concerned Board/ Council in the supplementary examination, subsequent to the admission. "

After completing B.Tech you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, M.Tech etc)
However, as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your B.Tech and then opt for further studies.The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in biotechnology, then you may pursue masters in same or related fields, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.
- If you are interested in pursuing MBA, then this work experience would help you to decide which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects, however as per your profile pursuing general MBA program would be the best option for you.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.
Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
I would suggest that before opting for any course you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best course as per your interest and liking.
As a student you should give your 100% in whichever course you opt for, and if you do well then getting a good job with handsome salary should not be a problem.

Pursuing studies abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a degree from abroad are:
