Certainly felt so! Anybody who could manage a good enough CGPA (around 7 and above) had lot of opportunities of internships and placements from reputed companies. And if you have managed to get a valid GATE score, you will get the scholarship. The tuition has been reduced from the time when I was in M tech. I think the selection criteria too has changed. You will probably have to write an another entrance test of Manipal to secure the M tech admission, but if you have cleared GATE it will not be a big hurdle.

The overall average package recorded during NIT Jamshedpur placements 2025 was INR 13.62 LPA. NIT Jamshedpur has also released the branch-wise average package offered to the Class of 2025. The NIT Jamshedpur CSE average package was the highest among all the branches, which stood at INR 25.11 LPA.

The student to faculty ratio is 15:1 and the Boys to girls ratio is 8:2 at Usha Martin University. Both the faculty and their teaching methods are quite good. In 2023, the highest package offered in Usha Martin University is 10 Lacs rupees per annum whereas the lowest salary package offered was 1.6 Lacs rupees per annum. Top recruitments were done in MBA field. The average salary package offered was around 3 Lacs rupees per annum. The popular recruiters were Hitachi, Indiamart, HDFC AMC Ltd, ICICI Lombard, Hindustan Times etc. In 2022, 97 students got placed but in 2023, only 73 studens were placed, which shows a sharp reduction in hiring.
