NIFT cutoff 2025 - The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2025 cutoffs at the time of counseling and seat allotment. The NIFT cut offs are different for every campus but a score of 75 our of 100 can be considered good.
In the previous edition, FOUR regular and one SPOT seat allotment rounds of NIFT counselling were conducted. For each of these rounds, a separate cut-off was released. NIFT does not offer a direct admission option in general in any of its campuses. Admission is based on a competitive process that includes:
1. Entrance Exam: The evaluation consists in a written examination, a test of design capabilities, knowledge and reasoning skills.
2. Creative Ability Test (CAT): Especially For design courses like B.Des.
3. Situation Test: A real life practical examination to carry out to test design sense.
4. Group Discussion/Interview: For some programs.
It will be noted that direct admission through management quota is rare or can hardly be considered.
