NEHU is central government university . so if you are looking for a peaceful environment then NEHU is place to be . if you want to enjoy life as student it is a place for you . but don't expect a world class sandards in the NEHU, as its a government university, youll get the decent quality infrastructure. Labs are average and doesnt have much issues . campus is beautiful and conductive learning environment .

North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Tura is ranked 80th in the NIRF 2023 under the university category, marking a decline from its previous rankings of 66th in 2022 and 59th in 2021. The ranking reflects various performance parameters, including teaching, research, and graduation outcomes.

  The entrance exam score such as CUET (PG) and MAT score  are accepted by North Eastern Hilly Univeristy  for the admission to MBA courses.

 Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MCA  in the NEHU TURA  : 

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3-years duration by 
  securing a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks or equivalent grade points 
  in aggregate from any recognised University/Institute
• having passed 
  Mathematics paper at 10+2 or graduation level are eligible for admission to the 
  programme.
• have a decent score in CUET / MAT

The fee for the MBA program at NEHU Tura is approximately 8,100 for the entire two-year course. This fee structure applies to various specializations within the MBA program, including Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and Marketing Management.

The admission process starts from filling the CUET FORM in month of JAN and expected the CUET in month of March. 

North Eastern Hilly University starts its registration process from  JUNE and which is opened till month of JULY .

After this college takes time to examine the number of forms and process the cutoff for various courses, SO after all that the 1st round of cuttoff canbe expected to release in the first-second week of september, 2nd cutoff expected to be release in the later week on the month

 NEHU Tura provides 2 years Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programme. Applicants for the NEHU Tura Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programme are required to meet the minimum entry standards which is 50.0% in the undergraduate degree. The total tuition fee for this course amounts to INR 3360 for the whole length of the course. In addition to the tuition fee, there is a hostel fee applicable that costs INR 11900 and also an admission fee of INR 840 which is paid once.

THe expected cutoff for NEHU corses are the following below;

The 2024 MAT  cutoff marks of NEHU was around minimum 450. the selection was based on the MAT score and group discussion, personal interview .  

the aggregrate percentage of MAT score is 80%

and  aggregrate percentage of group discussion is 10% similar 10% for personal interview.

so it is important to do good in group discussin and personal interview after that they willl select on the basis of ovreall marks.
