Universities in US have 2 admission intake in a year namely:
- Fall(August) intake.
- Spring(January) intake.
So, it is always advisable to take GRE and TOEFL test atleast 8-9 months in advance of your planned admission intake.

Overall, in order to pursue masters degree from universities in US you need to have:
- Good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation.
- Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
- GRE score of 300-320 plus.
- IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus or TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.

Hello Satya, Normally IELTS requirement for Master degree is 6.5 bands overall with no less than 6 bands in any module, you have mentioned you scored 6 bands overall may I know your module-wise score too.
To get admission in MBA course below are the basis requirements in addition to IELTS:
