The figures put out by ministry of HRD at the center say that almost 50% of fresh engineering graduates are jobless. So I would not recommend B.Tech as choice for bright career.

You have to utilize this 1 year gap. There are so many online certification courses to do. From these courses, you will get knowledge as well as certificates, both will help you in the future. If you are inclined towards any particular specialisation for MBA, then try to do certificates in that field only. You can complete 1 course in 3 to 6 days by spending 2 hours daily. These courses will give a broad idea about MBA and its specialisations.
