No, in order to get admission to either of the course at MS Ramaiah University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as a mandatory step. The university only accepts a valid score of the respective entrance exams for its various UG and PG courses. Those who are willing to get admission to MSRUAS, must qualify for the entrance exams with a valid score. Once the selection process gets completed, the university releases a merit list of the selected students. According the cutoff list released by IIIT Una for admission to its flagship BTech programme the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023 was 41419, 28324 & 30243 respectively.
