. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme at NIT Silchar are as follows:

1. Qualifying Exam: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
2. Minimum Marks: The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in the above subjects taken together.
3. Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the BTech programme at NIT Silchar.
4. National level exam: The candidate should have qualified for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main to be eligible for admission to NIT Silchar.

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) PG 2024 examination is entrance exam for all the master's degree programme. The time period is of 1 hour 45 minutes or 120 minutes. National Institute of Technology Silchar admits candidates to its programmes through a national-level entrance examination, JEE MAIN. Apply online through the official website.
