The most common entrance exam is CAT for pursuing MBA. However, some of the top MBA institutes also conduct their independent test for MBA aspirants. One needs to score minimum of 50% marks at the graduation level to qualify for the open test.

Of course, you can get a government job after completing your engineering.
You should apply for competitive exams like Bank SO/IT Exam, Railway JE, SSE Exams, SSC Junior Engineer Exams, etc.
In most of competitive exams, the eligibility criteria required is graduation. So, you can also apply for UPSC Exams, IBPS PO, etc.

At present, 10th, 12th, grad marks do not have any weightage in selection criteria for MBA in FMS, until unless you are scoring atleast 50% in each of them. However, I cannot guarantee you about the selection criteria in 2019-20.

There are barely any placements in core companies for Aeronautical. Other branches it's really good. Aero students tend to get placed in non technical companies.
