DMS, ISM has always focus on PSU's , before 2014 placement rate was around 85-90%, but after that most of PSU's has stopped their recruitment on campus and because of that 2015 placement declined to 50%, and for this year placement which has started in mid-December and started with great figures 9 out of 35 already placed with companies like IDEA, AIRTEL, NESTLE and companies like HYUNDAI, MECL, KOTAK BANK and many more to visit so exact figure can be given by end of January.
No. of companies visited till 20th December – 3 and
No. of companies expected to visit for placements this year -15 to 17.

National Eligibility Test is organized for lectureship. The minimum qualification is 55% aggregate or more for general category and 50% aggregate or more for others. The minimum qualified marks should not be less than 55% or 50%.
State Level eligibility test is for lectureship. The minimum eligibility criteria is same as above. After qualifying any of the above exams, one may become eligible for lectureship.

Computer science will help you to get the basics of C/C+. It includes flow chart, programming skills like loops. These are important aspects of various engineering fields. You will come across simple algorithms during your work in any industry and basic knowledge of algorithm and flow chart preparation will come handy.
Even a simple IF function in excel uses simple knowledge of C/C+. You can also look at curriculum of any engineering course 1st and 2nd term. Do have basics of JAVA and C/C+ irrespective of your stream of specialization.

Hi, we can only speak about our college. We have strong alumni network, good faculty and programs like IIP which give you global exposure. It would be unfair to compare it with other colleges since we have never been there. But, you can speak to someone from that college to get a better idea and do a comparison yourself. All the best.
