No, you cannot get direct admission to the BA programme at Modern College. The college follows a structured online merit system for all admissions. Every general category applicant must fill out an online merit form through the Vriddhi portal, and seats are given out in order based on Class 12 marks.
The only exception where the standard online merit lists can be avoided involves a specific preference system or institutional seats. For instance, in-house students who completed their Class 12 studies directly at Modern College receives first preference during the initial seat allocation rounds.
