The training and placement unit of the institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations.

LPU campus is spread over 700+.It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines.LPU campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel acres. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket. 5. To be eligible for taking CLAT, a candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
Structure of the CLAT entrance exam
Total marks 200
Total number of multiple choice questions 200
Duration of the exam 2 hrs
Subject areas:
English including comprehension 40 marks
General Knowledge/ Current Affairs 50 marks
Elementary Mathematics 20 marks
Legal Aptitude 50 marks
Logical Reasoning 40 marks
Things to Remember:
1. Most of the questions in Mathematics are of the elementary level (till Class 10)
2.The questions on legal, GK and aptitude are the toughest. In GK and Current Affairs test, students are checked on their knowledge of current affairs.
3.The reasoning section is for analyzing the candidate's ability to identify patterns, logical links, etc.
4.The English Comprehension includes passages and grammar, meanings of words used therein, incorrect grammatical sentences, filling in of blanks, etc.
5.In the Logical Reasoning section- identifying patterns, illogical arguments, syllogisms, sequences, analogies, etc. are included.

I would like to answer your second question first i.e. what kind of Job you should go into? Since, you are pursuing M.Com, your area of job would be around finance and accounts only. In industry, finance department is sub-divided into various roles. Depending on your area of interest choose the job.
Coming to your first question, it again depends on the area you are interested in. Depending on the same you should make choice of your course.
Few suggested courses are:
1. Certificate course on Financial Modelling.
2. Certificate courses on banking or insurance.
3. IFRS certification.
You may also consider professional courses like CA or MBA Finance.
