Please refer to the following letter. http://dgshipping.gov.in/writereaddata/ShippingNotices/201307110234023281250tcir5_2012.pdf.
B.Tech mechanical and automation engineering graduates are eligible to undergo 1-year graduate marine engineering course. As mechatronics is mechanical and automation engineering, I am of the opinion that you are eligible to join merchant navy after 1-year course. However, you are required to seek clarification from DG Shipping.

For example, if your score is 9.8 GPA, then in percentage it will be 9.8*9.5=93.1%.

Dear
Firstly, you should have professional degree in science , arts or commerce and opt for your passion side by side.
If you feel confident enough toopt for science with PCB and pursue your career in the research based programme, otherwise, you can change your field after 12th.
Check your calibre and interest for your career options.
All the best.

Hi Sajas,
Your answer will depend on the job you want to do. As a PCMB student, you can check courses in biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, agriculture, food science, pharmacology and so on. Biotechnology is a booming field. However, the final decision will depend on what you want to do and where your interests lie.

Dear,
There is no disadvantage of pursuing B.Tech in a particular branch in the 2nd year because from the 2nd year only the particular specialisation study will start and in next 3 years you would obtain, skills, knowledge, internship, project work and mainly you will get the same B.Tech degree as awarded to the student who took admission in the first year.
All the best.

B.Sc in agriculture economics is much better as it has low fees and better ROI. MBA in this specialisation attracts very few jobs, better to go for MBA in finance or marketing after B.Sc.

Hello Likhitha,
You have asked a very interesting question. I know the students who quit immediately after getting admission in dental/medical and engineering colleges. You simply tell college that you are no more interested in pursuing the course and hence they should give you TC. If it's private college they may try to extract fees pertaining to all four years.
Best wishes for your future.
