Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised state or central board with at least 50% (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates) of the marks with physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology as the major subjects of study. All three cannot go together. I don't know exactly as to how much you'll have to pay for the branch that you desire. But, I am sure that you will have to pay significant amount, with the highest for CSE & Mechanical, followed by ECE, then EEE,IT and Civil.
The choice is all yours. Contact the administration of VIT to know about further details.
