Most of my friends doing integrated M.Com from Tezpur University, and most of them prepared for their entrance by going through their class 12th accounting books. All you have to do is, be well acquainted with the basics of the accounting and maybe whatever you were taught in class 12th and class 11th accounting classes. Go through them clearly, understand the concepts clearly and the basics clearly. All the best for the entrance.

You have completed your M.Com. So, you can apply for UGC NET undoubtedly. But you should remember one thing that only qualifying the post graduation is not enough, you must fulfill the other eligible criteria I.e.
If you belong to the general category, your minimum percentage should be 55% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). And your age should not be more than 30 years if you are going for the JRF. There is no upper age limit for the post of an assistant professor.

You should be very strong in your basics. Next, the most important part is Quantitative aptitude. Be very clear with it. Next is reasoning part. Well you can work out with this one but time management in this area is important. In my opinion 2-3 minds is sufficient and required. Next, is English. Now its really very easy, the difficult part in English is the vocabulary part. It will become very easy for you if you just jot down 5 different words each day and just memorize it (along with their synonyms and antonyms). That's all. If you do it from now you will be surely able to crack UGAT. Then you can prepare for your GD PI round.

Hi, Both profile and score based calls are given almost the same importance, no differentiation is done there. I had received a score based call last year. Mainly, it is the performance in the interview rounds that decide the chances of a candidate getting selected.
