The infrastructure is also good at SASTRA University.
If you are aspiring to be a good engineer with a placement in top companies and also with a good salary then SASTRA University is a good choice.
Top 5 NITs are better than SASTRA. If you don't get a good course in those top 5 NITs then SASTRA University will be the better choice.

IIM Calcutta has increased award of weightage percentage from 30% to 40% upto class 12 marks to shortlist candidates at the first stage. If you have obtained 80 or above percentage of marks in Class X and XII, you are entitled to get 10 points out of 50 for each of the two exams, making it a total of 20 points

The highest package is INR. 9 Lakhs per annum this year, I myself hold a INR. 6 L.p.a from SSIM. But, the question you have to ask yourself is that are you worth this package. So, don't judge any B-School by its package or ROI or anything. Even though, this B-school may have this package, but can you strive to be the one for it, can only be known if you have what it takes in you. All the best.
