From my experience of interviews in IT firms. Any one Language, DBMS, and Data structure are three subjects you need to know to get hired. And from there everything is how adaptable and good learner you are. Now coming to the role of institution you need a good place where IT companies visit for placement. Grade 1 gov institutes, BITS, Lovely Professional University, SRM etc.

Hey Mohan,
You can't pursue two degrees at the same time as it will not be valid for any eligibility. However if that's for your personal interest you can proceed. Moreover I would suggest you to go for that course only in which you are interested. Career in Interior Designing is also booming these days, but you need a good college as platform for a better kick start. Good Luck

Hey Rashmi,
You will not get any college based on this score of GATE, but you still have other choices open. You can apply for the colleges in which you want admission for their own entrance examinations. You might score well and get admission in this way. Suggesting universities having good reputation and forms open -
