Yes, Bihar students can apply for admission through AUAT (Aliah University Admission Test). The exam is open to all Indian nationals, regardless of state of domicile. Reservation criteria at Aliah University follow West Bengal government norms, not Bihar's, so Bihar students are considered under the “Other State” category with only national-level reservations (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD).

How BTech Admissions Work
NITs, IIITs, GFTIs: Admission strictly via JEE Main + JoSAA counseling.
State Govt. Engineering Colleges: Admission via state-level exams/counseling (REAP in Rajasthan, HSTES in Haryana, UPSEE in UP, etc.).
Private Universities:
Some accept CUET scores for general UG courses.
For BTech, most rely on JEE Main percentile or their own entrance exams (like VITEEE, SRMJEEE, BITSAT).
A few universities (like Galgotias, LPU, CU, Amity) may consider CUET + Class 12 marks for BTech admission, but this is not the mainstream route.
