Average package is very low at around 4lacs and Placements are 80% with many big MNCs not coming to campus. It is not amongst top 50 Bschools. Advise you to go for Top Bschools nly for great job opportunity.

Vivek, if your proposed business is related to technical work / material /industries / manufacturing then I suggest you opt for B.Sc + MBA. If that would be related more to commerce, finance, trading, Marketing then opt for B.Com + MBA.

The average salary for the placements is Rs 4 to 4.5 Lacs. This is the only salary package provided through campus selections in colleges. But, if you go for public sector companies through your GATE score, then you will have much more appreciable package. For this year there were about 75% placements from mechanical branch in UVCE. The highest placement was from ECE branch about 92%.50% placement was there from EEE branch. But after going through the figures I found that the placement figures are quite well.
