Dear Devansh,
Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute among them. You can consider the below parameters :
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.

Sumit, last date for applying this year is over which means you need to drop this year.
Dropping an year is not advisable. Better would be apply for admission to some good university.
Most of the private universities these days offer you admission either on basis of LEET or direct admission on the basis of your marks in Diploma. They offer world class environment to students along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites.
Good luck.

Mridul, yes with these marks you can get admission in some of the NITs but may be not in very good branches.
But with these 12th marks and JEE score you can get a seat in some of the best private universities that are offering admissions on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th.
Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria. Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.

CUSAT has a very reputed placement records in the past years. maximum students get placed from CUSAT. the companies who come for recruitment are also high profile MNCs. 313 is a very good rank in CAT exam. depending upon your interest you can choose your field of study because interest is the one which drives one to study hard. fire and safety is a very nice stream to opt for. there is a separate fire and safety block in school of engineering and the faculty is also very good. rest all depends upon the companies that come during your final year. if the companies coming at that time are more, there are high chances of you getting placed
