The option of doing M.SC from any of the institute or university is not going to give you profit so doing M.Sc from authorized university or IIT , NITs & birla institute is going to help you.For getting admission in IIT you have to pass some IIT JAM entrance exam .The exam is conducted in Jan-Feb every year.

HM can include Hotel & Restaurant management, Cruise Ship Hotel management, Hospital Administration and Catering, Hotel and Tourism Associations, Airline Catering and Cabin Services, Club management, Forest Lodges, Guest Houses amongst others. Expansion of global travel industry and aviation industry is expected to boost hotel industry in next couple of years.

Below is the eligibility criteria for marine engineering:
Eligibility & Admission:
The candidates must have sound physical health for all marine engineering courses. The height of the candidate should be not less than 150 cm. Chest expansion of the candidate should be 5 cm, and eyesight should be 6/6.Some institutes like Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT) specify that the applicant must be unmarried.
Undergraduate:
In order to pursue a career in Marine Engineering at the Bachelor's level, a student is required to qualify in class XII with Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 60% marks is recommended. Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training also allows candidates to join in from 2nd year under certain eligibility criteria. Age of the candidate must be 17-20 years as on Oct 1st of the joining year. The duration of the undergraduate course is 4 years. The courses falling under this category are:
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Marine Engineering
Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) Marine Engineering
Alternatively, qualified Mechanical Engineers (B. E. / B. Tech.) may undergo Post Graduate Marine Engineering for Graduate Mechanical Engineering (GME) for one year. The course requires a 50% aggregate score with a minimum 50% score in English.

CUSAT has a very reputed placement records in the past years. maximum students get placed from CUSAT. the companies who come for recruitment are also high profile MNCs. 313 is a very good rank in CAT exam. depending upon your interest you can choose your field of study because interest is the one which drives one to study hard. fire and safety is a very nice stream to opt for. there is a separate fire and safety block in school of engineering and the faculty is also very good. rest all depends upon the companies that come during your final year. if the companies coming at that time are more, there are high chances of you getting placed but at last its CUSAT and its really nice to study there.
