Well RMIT is a well renowned university of Australia. Demand for statistical and operations research skills is growing in this data-driven world.
Graduates in operations research are employed by a variety of scientific, commercial and government enterprises, most commonly as statisticians, business analysts, consultants, modellers and researchers.
Its a two year degree program. Though your academics seems good as per the entry requirements, however you may need to have some prior related work experience.

Yes, it is compulsory to stay at hostel for MBA Full time students. Weather student is locality or not.But timing are flexible, so student can go where he want to go.
But for Family business students is not compulsory.

Similar to most of the colleges in India, the course structure is theoretical. however, in IIFT, a lot of weightage is given to classroom case analysis which are real world problems. In 2015, the test was difficult and the cutoff dropped to around 39-40
However there are sectional cutoff also, that one has to clear in order to be eligible for the next round.
