For all the first year students they must reside in the hostels as it is mandatory for them, however, the first year students who desire to live outside or stay outside under their own arrangements, they must submit a consent letter from their parents before the recommendation by the HOI and forward it to the director students affairs permission is also necessary for the students to live outside. If all the rules are followed properly the student can live outside the campus without any issues.

At Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology there is a 24x7 Health center in the campus which includes 05 Beds, 02 Residential Doctors, 03 Nurses & a medical attendant. There are also two ambulances available at the campus for shifting medical cases to CRH, the institute doesn't hold back at all for providing all the medical facilities as far as possible for the students or the faculty within the campus and takes the responsibility and the duty very graciously.

There is some eligibility criteria fixed for applying to SMU, like aggregate marks of 50% in 12th standard. They don't have a management quota, reservation quota, donation quota or payment seats.

The average package can be based on different branches of the course that the student must be studying. As of now the average package has been around great with major companies offers like Amazon, Dell, Infosys etc. In the most recent case The Manipal Institute of Technology average package recorded during 2023 placements was INR 12.59 LPA. Earlier, the average package offered during 2022 placements was INR 10.49 LPA

The admission process for international students in IIIT Bhubaneswar is similar to that of Indian Students. The admission process will only be based on the JEE Mains score. They just have to show appropriate conversion method of CGPA to percentage. The minimum eligibility required in terms of marks is 60% or more for General students and 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10. After scoring Indian people follow CSAB counselling and second one which follow the PPP ( Public Private Partnership) model. These follow their own admission procedure independent of CSAB.

Yes, the courses offered by them are B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. To get into it, you need to pay registration fees and fill out an application form. For getting admission into the college, you need to crack Jee Main, Gate, JRF, Ugc, Net, Csir - Net. There is a compulsory procedure of JOSAA Counselling held by the institute which is mandatory for all the students to get into the B.Tech course. Similarly, for M.Tech course, you need to attend CCMT Counselling. Currently, Round 6 of seat allocation has concluded which was the last round for selection at IITs.

IIIT Bhubaneswar is among the top performers in almost every colleges fests and events, specially IITKGP (Kshitij and Springfest) and NIT RKL (Innovision). So do participate in them because it gives a lot of fun and connections too. Advaita is the annual Techno Cultural Fest at iiit bhubaneshwar. A lot of cultural as well as technical events are hosted by the committee.
